These pictures are from my Seagull Series from this winter 08. It was a cold, crisp, beautiful winter day, and we were just finishing up our walk around town. We were passing the pier when I noticed a fellow feeding the gulls. The sky was an amazing bright and clear blue, and the gulls were into doing what they do best. Flying and eating!
It was such a great photo opportunity because of the angles I could shoot from, and because of this fellow's tenacity. I spoke with him later and showed him the shots. He said he was really in the moment and really enjoyed his time at the pier. His wife took photos as well and they drove away with that beautiful feeling of having had a great nature experience with some photos to keep as memories.

freezing and he just kept feeding them!!! Good lookin' too!
