that is the final one - which has been invented for Halloween - the Creepy Fire Spirits i love them - even so they are so creepy... The fire source is our oven - the creeps are fm Photobucket - the main source of my fantasy pics and the merge is the fire shining through :)

A long time ago - the sky was a battle field - the evil fought with the good abt it - luckily - she saved the good ones and got it back - here she is - fighting you still see the evil’s sword - yet the evil is disappearing

With regards - i said: you misunderstood me. sure - in one thing he is right - yet - that would be a discussion which is actually necessary - well, he remains in silence...
However; many things we have copied fm our brothers and sisters - the animals. Sonar, camouflage, insolation, flying, adaption - etc... why is it wrong when we pursue our goals passionately and feel for others with compassion? I once read a book abt the whole creation - our steps - or levels of development we go through: 1. stone 2. plant 3. animal 4. human 5. philosopher 6. prophet 7. son/daughter of God - yes - to explain ALL that is a bit much - yet - that you might perhaps understand - how i mean it hv a great weekend

First enameling projects

I have been busy with lots of jewelry projects, but haven't been blogging about it much, since I have been so busy the past few months. I just took my first enameling class last night and I loved it! I thought I would share my first attempts with you all!

The first thing we did was take a sheet of copper and cut out a variety of shapes. This is an example of what the plain copper piece looked like when it was first cut:

So, for my first attempt, I decided to just use a plain square piece to play around with, for no real purpose. I chose some vibrant colors to see how they looked once fired. This is what I ended up with:

After getting my feet under me with one multi color attempt, I decided to try to make something useful and wearable, so I settled on creating two pairs of earrings. The first pair, I domed a bit so they would be rounded discs instead of flat. I first did a base of flame orange, followed by another of flame red. The end result was this:

The second pair, I attempted to do a design on (which wasn't so easy since enamels are really glass crushed into a very fine powder!). I started with a clear glaze of bronze first, followed by another clear glaze of bright yellow. I attempted a swirl design by using an opaque cobalt blue. The end result looks like this:

I obviously need a lot more practice with the technique, but I have to say that this is definitely my favorite jewelry-creating technique! I am even considering buying a setup to do this at home! (hubby is a bit worried, since it involves a torch - LOL!)

The Four Elements

i used to be a huge fan of THE CRAFT - and other movies like that - as long as they were somehow moderate - i.e. NOT too much of horror...

Still till today i love the four elements - in China there are even 5 - i will produce Metal and Wood later on - yet now the Western world's elements - EARTH - FIRE - AIR & WATER
